Aviation cyber security training is designed for persons having access to critical aviation information systems and data. This including being made aware of relevant risks where their job function requires this.
Who is this cyber security training course for?
Any person with access to cyber security sensative online material or data relating to any aspect of aviation security are required to complete this training so to be aware of possible cyber threat and avoidance. Systems include access to the MYSRS system, the Union database, the Egress system, as well as airport and airline data systems.
The relavent competencies for cyber aviation security training are as follows:
(a) Introduction to cyber security.
(b) Knowledge of threats and incidents that have exploited IT vulnerabilities.
(c) Knowledge of types of cyber threats including familarisation with spoofing, phishing, and social
engineering.
(d) Familiarity with effective IT physical security measures including protection of IT equipment and
limiting access to networks and systems.
(e) Password protection and Internal Reporting of a Cyber Threat.
